Pecan Pie

I'm still trying to decide whether the real dark brown sugar or the "el cheapo", generic brown sugar is better in this recipe. The first time I made it was with the "el cheapo" stuff. The little sample I had --which was a remnant of the pie after it was fiercely devoured by my husband's family--was the BEST pecan pie I've tasted to date.
